Chiropractic care is a form of healthcare that focuses on diagnosing and treating mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine. Our chiropractors utilize manual manipulation and adjustments to correct misalignments in the spine and other joints, aiming to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself.
The underlying premise of chiropractic care is that proper alignment of the musculoskeletal structure enables the nervous system to function optimally.

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice involving thin needle insertion at specific body points, believed to correspond to energy pathways, or "meridians." Its goal is to balance the flow of "qi" to promote healing and health. Acupuncture addresses conditions like pain, stress, and digestive issues by stimulating the nervous system, increasing circulation, reducing inflammation, and releasing natural painkillers.

Laser therapy is a treatment that uses focused light to aid healing, reduce pain, and promote tissue repair. It sends specific wavelengths through the skin, enhancing cell function and blood flow. There are two types: low-level laser therapy (LLLT), for pain relief and tissue healing, and high-intensity laser therapy (HILT), for deeper tissues and severe injuries. It is used for musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, inflammation, and skin conditions, and is commonly found in physical therapy and chiropractic care.

Prenatal chiropractic care focuses on the unique needs of pregnant women, providing support to facilitate a healthy pregnancy and alleviate discomfort. This specialized branch of chiropractic aims to optimize the function of the spine and pelvis, which can help with alignment and may ease common pregnancy-related issues such as back pain, pelvic discomfort, and nerve compression.
Benefits of prenatal chiropractic care may include improved posture, reduced labor time, and enhanced overall well-being. Many expectant mothers report increased comfort during pregnancy, and easier recovery postpartum.

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a manual therapy technique designed to relieve tension in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs. It focuses on the fascia’s ability to restrict movement and cause discomfort when it becomes tight or adheres to muscles. Our doctors use gentle, sustained pressure to stretch and release these restrictions, promoting improved blood flow, flexibility, and overall tissue health.
Stretching, on the other hand, is a physical activity aimed at increasing the flexibility and range of motion of muscles and joints. It involves elongating muscle fibers through various techniques, including static, dynamic, and passive stretches. Stretching helps to prepare the body for physical activity, reduce risk of injury, and improve recovery after exercise.
Both Myofascial Release and stretching play important roles in enhancing physical performance and promoting recovery. They can be incorporated into regular fitness routines to maintain mobility and alleviate muscle tension, benefiting individuals of all activity levels.
-
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is a technique that uses electrical impulses to cause muscle contractions. This method is commonly employed in physical rehabilitation, sports training, and muscle re-education. EMS devices typically include electrodes that are placed on the skin over the targeted muscle groups. When activated, these electrodes send electrical signals that stimulate the nerves responsible for muscle contraction.
The primary objectives of EMS include improving muscle strength, enhancing recovery after exercise, and reducing muscle atrophy in individuals who may be unable to perform conventional exercises. EMS can also aid in pain management and promote circulation in specific areas of the body.
-
Cupping therapy is a form of alternative medicine that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This practice is believed to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and overall well-being. Dry cupping is performed by using a mechanical pump to create the suction. The duration of treatment can vary, with cups often left in place for around 10 to 15 minutes.
-
RockTape is a specialized kinesiology tape designed to support muscles and joints while allowing for a full range of motion. Proper application can enhance performance, reduce pain, and aid in recovery.
-
Dry needling is a minimally invasive pain treatment procedure used to stimulate trigger points, which many people find helpful for pain relief. Dry needling may help you if you are experiencing ongoing pain or struggling with your range of motion due to an injury.
Your chiropractor will locate trigger points in your body that they will attempt to activate during a dry needling session. They will then insert a thin, solid needle to stimulate the trigger point and reduce pain.

A school and sport physical is a comprehensive health assessment that ensures a student is fit to participate in athletic activities. This evaluation typically includes a detailed medical history, a physical examination, and may require specific tests to assess overall health.
Purpose of School and Sport Physicals
Health Assessment: The primary aim is to identify any underlying health concerns that could affect a student’s ability to compete safely in sports.
Injury Prevention: By examining musculoskeletal health, the physical helps in identifying potential weaknesses or previous injuries that might lead to future issues.
Eligibility Requirement: Many schools and athletic programs require a completed physical form for students to partake in sports teams, ensuring

Normatec Compression Therapy is a recovery technique that utilizes pneumatic compression to enhance circulation and reduce muscle soreness and stiffness. The therapy involves the use of a specialized device that features inflatable sleeves for various body parts, including legs, arms, and hips.
These sleeves apply controlled, sequential compression to the muscles, promoting blood flow and lymphatic drainage. This process helps remove metabolic waste products, reduces swelling, and speeds up recovery after intense physical activity.
Normatec technology is widely used by athletes and fitness enthusiasts to aid in recovery, enhance performance, and prepare the body for subsequent workouts. The therapy sessions typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, making it a convenient addition to any recovery routine.

The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Assessment is a comprehensive screening process designed to evaluate a golfer's physical capabilities and how they relate to their swing mechanics. This assessment focuses on identifying the physical limitations that could affect performance and injury risk.
Typically, the TPI Golf Assessment includes a series of functional movement screenings, flexibility tests, and strength evaluations. Golfers are assessed in various areas, including:
Mobility: Evaluating joint range of motion, particularly in the shoulders, hips, and thoracic spine, which are critical for an effective swing.
Stability: Assessing core strength and balance, essential for maintaining control throughout the swing and overall performance.
Power: Measuring the ability to generate force, which contributes to distance and accuracy while hitting the ball.
Functional Movement: Observing how the body moves in relation to the golf swing, helping to pinpoint areas that may lead to inefficient swings or potential injuries.

When you sustain a serious injury, you may also sustain a large cut in your skin. As your wound recovers, scar tissue may start to form over it. You may also get scar tissue from undergoing a surgical procedure.
Although the formation of scar tissue is a sign that you’re recovering, it can also be a hindrance. Scar tissue can hamper your movement. Instead of being able to use your shoulder normally, it may be stuck in place due to all the scar tissue. IASTM helps provide a solution for that problem.
The instruments being used by a chiropractor from our practice can effectively induce a response from the tissue beneath your scar. In response to the instrument, your body may gradually reduce the scar tissue in that area. Soon enough, the amount of scar tissue remaining may no longer affect you or be visible.
